Where an order prejudicial to the writ petitioner has been passed in violation of the principles of natural justice or the decision making process is faulty, then the High Courts can interfere under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and issue appropriate directions instead of directing the petitioner to approach the forum under the Statute that provides for an alternative remedy – Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft Vs.
