MCA has notified Constitution of NCLAT Chennai Bench

Dated 13.03.2020 w.e.f. 18.03.2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 410 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby constitutes another Bench of the NCLAT at Chennai to hear the appeals against the orders of the Benches of the NCLT having jurisdiction of:

  1. Karnataka,
  2. Tamil Nadu,
  3. Kerala,
  4. Andhra Pradesh,
  5. Telangana,
  6. Lakshadweep and
  7. Puducherry.

The Bench of the NCLAT at New Delhi shall be known as the Principal Bench of the NCLAT which shall continue to hear appeals other than those in the jurisdiction of Chennai Bench of the NCLAT.  This notification shall come into force with effect from the 18th March, 2020.
