MCA has received a representation seeking extension of timeline for filing the Statement of Account and Solvency without paying additional fees by LLPs on account of challenges faced by the LLPs due to COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the Government’s constant efforts to promote ease of living and compliances for Micro, Medium and Small Enterprises doing business through the vehicle of LLP, it has been decided to allow LLPs to file Form 8 (the Statement of Account and Solvency) for the Financial Year 2020-2021 without paying additional fees upto 30th December, 2021.

Relaxation on levy of additional fees in filing of certain Forms under the Companies Act, 2013 and LLP Act 2008- Extension of time – MCA General Circular No. 11/2021 dated 30.06.2021

In continuation to this Ministry’s General Circular No. 06/2021 dated 03.05.2021 and on account of requests for further extension of timelines specified in the said Circular, it has been decided to grant additional time upto 31″ August, 2021 to companies/LLPs to file forms under the Companies Act, 2013/ LLP Act, 2008 (other than a CHG-1 Form, CHG-4 Form and CHG-9 Form) which were/are due for filing during 1st April, 2021 to 31st July, 2021 without any additional fees. Accordingly, only normal fees shall be levied upto 31″ August, 2021 for forms (other than charge related forms referred above) required to be filed during 1st April, 2021 to 31st  July, 2021.
