ORDER
New Delhi, the 21st November, 2016
S.O.- 3494(E).—Whereas, the third proviso to sub-section (1) of section 20 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 stipulates that until the establishment of a Regulatory Authority, the appropriate Government shall designate any Regulatory Authority or any officer as the Regulatory Authority for the purposes under the Act.
2. Whereas, the appropriate Government under the said Act for the National Capital Territory of Delhi is the Central Ministry of Urban Development.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by the third proviso to sub-section (1) of section 20 of the said Act, until the establishment of Regulatory Authority in National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Ministry of Urban Development hereby designates Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority as the Regulatory Authority for the purposes under the said Act.
