All concerned are hereby informed that some of the officials of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi have tested Covid-19 Positive. Which includes the Hon’ble Registrar of this Tribunal also and are under medical treatment.
As per ‘SOP on preventive measures to contain spread of Covid-19 in offices’ dated 04th June, 2020, issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, if there is outbreak of Covid-19, the workplace is to be closed for thorough disinfection.
Keeping in view the SOP guidelines for prevention of spread of Corona Virus, the Hon’ble Officiating Chairperson of NCLAT is pleased to direct as under:
1. The Office Premises of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi shall remain closed for 48 hours (Two Days) on 20th April, 2021 and 21st April, 2021, i.e. for complete disinfection of Office Premises on Tuesday (20th April, 2021) and closure of the office premises on 21st April, 2021 which is even otherwise holiday on account of Ram Navami.
2. The matters which were hereby scheduled to be taken up on 20th April, 2021 are adjourned and next date of hearing will be notified later.
3. Till 30th April, 2021, only urgent matters would be taken up. From the matters which are already on Board also only urgent matters will be taken up.
This issues with the approval of the Hon’ble Officiating Chairperson, NCLAT.

N O T I C E
This is in continuation of Notice dated 19.04.2021 issued today morning closing down of Tribunal’s premises on 20.04.2021 & 21.04.2021 for disinfection. Considered the further worsening Covid-19 Pandemic situation and large number of NCLAT staff are infected with Corona virus including Ld. Registrar and senior officials of Registry. It has now been learnt by Hon’ble Officiating Chairperson that he has also tested positive for COVID-19.
Now, it has been decided that the matters listed on 22.04.2021 & 23.04.2021 also in the Court of Chairperson, Court-II, Court-III and Court-IV will not be taken up and even Registry will remain closed. The next date of hearing will be notified later.
All officials concerned to note the fact of Hon’ble Officiating Chairperson also testing Corona positive and take necessary precautions.
